Job Description

The Sales Financial Analyst role provides financial and business support to the Keysight Global Sales organization as part of a worldwide sales finance team. This support encompasses managing expense planning and reporting deliverables for the sales organization, generating key order performance reports on a regular basis, partnering with global team members in addressing key initiatives and deliverables, and addressing special project requests from the sales controller. Key job responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating monthly expense reporting and forecasting processes on behalf of the global sales organization. Generating expense analyses in support of monthly performance reviews with the sales controller. Partnering with the broader sales finance team in understanding spending trends and investigating spending anomalies.
  • Leading the annual expense setting process for the broader sales finance team. Developing related expense planning tools, analyses and communications to facilitate the process. Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve overall process efficiency in partnership with the broader sales finance team.
  • Generating monthly and quarterly order performance reports for use in performance narratives and reviews by the sales leadership team. Coordinating with the sales operation team to ensure the usefulness of key order reporting tools. Partnering with the sales controller and human resources team in reporting and analyzing staffing levels across all sales teams. Managing key components of semi-annual and annual processes tied to sales quota planning, rewards planning and fixed asset audits.
  • Partnering with the sales controller in completing special projects and analyses in support of financial and operational goals of the global sales team.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Proficient with MS Excel.
  • Ability to lead global processes and demonstrated initiative in identifying and driving process improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with a diverse global team.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills. Ability to multitask in a quick pace environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and ensuring reliability and accuracy of work.
