Description

  • The Reporting Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Development and is a member of the BI/Reporting team. This person will be involved in all phases of the reporting lifecycle with an emphasis on design, quality and implementation and provide contributions to the reporting architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance.
  • Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Design and develop metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions using SSRS
  • Write SQL queries and perform data modeling using MS SQL Server
  • Develop dashboards and reports for management review
  • Write ad-hoc SQL to support business needs as required
  • Monitor performance and integrity of reporting and data management systems
  • Provide development estimates on stories and tasks
  • Support and maintain existing reports
  • Work with data architects for reporting and BI databases and tables
  • Attend/Facilitate meetings with users regarding requirements when appropriate
  • Participate in the stand-up of a new BI system
  • Remain current on information technology and techniques

Competencies/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a reporting developer/analyst
  • 3+ years of technology-focused experience
  • Experience architecting, building, and launching reporting products and services
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with SSAS is a plus
  • Experience with BI/Data warehouse
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled multitasker with excellent listening skills
  • Self-motivated and can work with minimal direction
  • Ability to pass strict check for handling sensitive data
