Job description

This position partners with Marketing teams to ensure specific aspects of projects are delivered on-time to the appropriate parties and results are achieved.

Reporting / Research

  • Researches, evaluates and analyzes data to make optimization recommendations
  • Reconciling invoices
  • Responsible for campaign set up and launches
  • Creating performance reports

Coordinates internal communication and project deadline

  • Communicates on a timely basis with multiple partners within the Marketing Department to ensure execution and deadlines are met
  • Communicates with other Coordinators & Managers regarding project/process issues & updates
  • Suggests and builds process improvements & new procedures

Project coordination

  • Acts as the coordinator within Marketing teams to provide assistance to achieve program results
  • Schedules and owns invites for internal review meetings
  • Attends internal reviews, creates agenda of projects to be reviewed and manages meeting preparation
  • Coordinates feedback and action items during internal reviews

Broadcast

  • Partner closely with external ad agencies and translate Kohl’s media priorities to effectively execute on TV and Radio media strategies.
  • Evaluate TV and Radio plans to ensure tactical principles are being executed (e.g., degree of double spotting that is acceptable, adherence to daypart delivery).
  • Diagnose TV and Radio schedules and tactics (e.g., identify areas of opportunity for optimization)
  • Previous experience in the tactical planning/buying of TV and Radio required.
  • Previous experience in Digital Video preferred.

Programmatic

  • Gather and analyze performance data to help inform optimization and inventory supply plan recommendations
  • Evaluate programmatic plans to ensure tactical principles are being executed
  • Coordinate forecasting audience demand and budgeting
  • Support the development of audience segments
  • Previous experience in the tactical planning/buying of programmatic media

Media Strategy

  • Contribute to developing strategic plans, including investment and go-to-market, which includes flighting and communication planning
  • Gather and analyze performance results and insights to help inform future planning
  • Develop and maintain media planning documents
  • Communicate with media channel owners and marketing teams on an ongoing basis to ensure all parties are aligned to the media plan, execution and performance
  • Previous media experience, in traditional and digital media

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to independently follow complex documentation
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, and Google Drive Products

Preferred

  • Degree in communications, journalism/advertising and/or marketing communications
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills / time management skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
