  • The Financial Reporting Analyst assists Executive, Financial, and Departmental management in the preparation and completion of financial data collection, financial reports/tools, various surveys and special projects; including but not limited to Inventory, Audits, Budget, Charge Master, ROIs, P&Ls, and Projection. Prepare and updates files after month closes for trending purposes.
  • Provides consistent non-judgmental financial reports to the “C” Level Suite, Exec Team and Department Directors.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of Accounting Policies and Procedures, and is able to communicate with management.
  • Develop innovative ways of providing business intelligence in order to drive operational reporting efficiency and productivity within the facility by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements; documenting reporting procedures; and tracking ad-hoc reporting
  • Assist with P&L and/or pro-forma analysis projects from all aspects of data gathering, organizing, and analyzing
  • Develop, streamline, automate and test current data gathering and reporting processes within the Finance department.
  • Extracts, consolidates and analyzes data in meaningful ways.
  • Interacts with other departments of the organization to provide reports/information.
  • Assist with annual financial and statistical budget preparations.
  • Assist with monthly statistical data in accordance with HCA standards
  • Accepts accountability and responsibility as a member of the Accounting Department
  • Functions effectively as a multi-disciplinary team member.
  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance, analysis and audit of the various Corporate Systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other business-related disciplines
  • Masters in Business preferred
  • Knowledge and use of advanced functions within Microsoft Office applications to include but not be limited to macros, pivot tables, importing data from external sources and advanced formulas.
  • Experience sith data collection, data mining, data assimilation; interpreting and analyzing large amounts of data; skill in examining documents and data for correctness and accurace
  • CPA licsense preferred
