Major Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst will provide support to the Marketing organization by performing account and invoice reconciliations, driving the month-end close process, and perform routine reporting and analysis.

Position Objectives & Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and distribute regularly scheduled (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) reports (financial and operational) to senior leadership team for review.
• Oversee Advertising/Marketing cost accrual and month-end close processes. Track expenses and provide line-item variance explanations vs. budget, forecast and prior period actuals
• Compile and provide total Company Advertising P&L variance explanations and cost-per summaries
• Own the invoice reconciliation process and provide recommendations for monthly accrual adjustments based on vendor invoice analysis
• Create and maintain partnership and vendor definitions, reporting, and accruals.
• Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed

Education/Certification:

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.

Work Experience Required:

• 1-3+ years of experience in reporting, consolidation and financial or accounting analysis, preferably in a matrixed corporate environment.
• Strong Accounting/GAAP knowledge.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft products (emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint).
• Essbase/Oracle knowledge a plus.
