SPORTS REPORTER/ANCHOR

Channel 8 News, Nebraska’s Trusted News Source in Lincoln, is looking for a Sports Reporter/Anchor. If you don’t know how big of a sports market this is, you probably shouldn’t apply. From Huskers and all the Big Ten action down to the high school level, we need someone who can shoot sports, edit, report, run their own backpack live shot, and do all of that quickly.

Your schedule needs to be flexible, and you need to be able to work efficiently and independently. Travel is probable with this position. You’ll need to have a strong command of working social media, digital stories, and newsroom computer systems. This is not an entry level position.
