Position Overview

Sports Illustrated is looking for a talented Social Media Editor, Fantasy/Sports Betting candidate to join the team! You are passionate for sports, betting and fantasy meeting social media knowledge. You understand viral and trending moments and will plan, implement, and activate social content onto accounts. You are comfortable working nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all planning, implementation, and activation for social content onto SI Betting and SI Fantasy’s accounts
  • Following viral and trending moments and identifying how our properties can interact and take advantage
  • Manage the brand’s social presence including community management and content tracking
  • Monitor activity on social in the fantasy and gambling space
  • Guide the editorial team on best practices, content ideas and more
  • Work with SI Betting/Fantasy talent on best practices and approaches in the social space
  • Contribute to execution and collaborate on creative ideas for social specific programming

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience implementing a social media strategy
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about sports, betting and fantasy
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Experience operating the major social platforms
