FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented, dependable and self-motivated video producer to join our video production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to utilize their production skills to organize projects and produce video content that matches the team’s strategic vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for Hy-Vee’s streaming video network (HSTV), social media platforms, internal employee communications, corporate training videos and other company-wide projects
  • Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for video content
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables
  • Production schedule development
  • Plan video production shoots in-studio or on location; scout, select and reserve shoot locations for the best execution of creative
  • Talent casting, procurement, coaching and management
  • Oversee set design and set construction
  • Manage procurement of props, food and supplies, as well as storage/cataloging
  • Manage and execute legal contracts, releases, and proper copyright and trademark registration uses
  • Management of external vendors of video production, photography, audio production, talent, shoot locations and prop houses
  • Content management, scheduling and execution

SKILLS NEEDED

  • Proven work experience as a producer with a strong portfolio.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a drive to take charge
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast passed and ever-changing environment
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously while adhering to multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently with minimum supervision and self-motivation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multi-disciplinary teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Required)

Bachelor’s degree in digital media, film studies, journalism or related field with a minimum of 5-7+ years’ experience.
