TK Elevator is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst II – Procurement & Supply Chain for its Atlanta, GA office.

The Procurement & Supply Management Senior Financial Analyst II is responsible for providing a full range of budget, forecast, performance reporting, and analytics to support business decision-making needs. Direct responsibilities include (i) delivering periodic performance reporting & results scorecards, (ii) performing ad hoc business driver analyses, (ii) developing predictive analytics to understand historical results & trends, (iv) assisting in month-end close processes, and (v) compiling relevant budget/forecast model inputs.

This role will be a primary business partner to the BU NA Manufacturing OU, which includes the Procurement & Supply Management function (PSM). In addition, this role will work closely & collaboratively with numerous team members across the BU NA Finance organization (e.g., BU NA Accounting, BU NA Financial Reporting, US Field FP&A/Analytics & Insights, MFG FP&A/Analytics & Insights).

Essential Job Functions

  • End-to-end process owner for PSM relevant budget, forecast, reporting & analytics deliverables
  • Actively manage the portfolio of reports, dashboards & analyses required to provide timely insights and enable better business decisions
  • Proactively identify business case deviations, operational performance issues and external marketplace dynamics for key stakeholders to take actions for adjusting budgets & execution plans
  • Provide business requirements, as needed, to IT partners in support of developing new capabilities, such as Data Enablement & PowerBI Transformation
  • Support the monthly close process by gathering needed inputs, performing variance analyses, refining forecasts, and submitting commentary as required
  • Support and/or lead highly visible special projects (e.g., VCPs, PPMT Measures), as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement & standardization efforts within the BU NA Finance organization

Your Profile

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement and/or supply chain-related financial reporting, analytics, budgeting & forecasting roles
  • Working knowledge of an industrial company’s business model & its financial performance measures
  • Ability to operate at a high level within a multi-national organization
  • Understanding of how private equity firms manage portfolio companies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar field is required
  • MBA or CPA preferred
  • Direct finance & operational experiences within procurement/supply chain management function of a multi-national manufacturer or industrial company
  • Ability to solve complex problems through solution-oriented analyses & value-creating solutions
  • Advanced Excel skill set, along with a deep financial modeling & data mining expertise
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, combined with a strong working knowledge of PowerBI capabilities
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle & EPM Cloud financial reporting software
  • In-depth understanding of accounting methods, with the ability to apply GAAP & IFRS knowledge
  • A high level of initiative & drive, along with a natural sense of responsibility ownership
  • Ability to work closely with C-level & other executives
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability for articulate/diplomatic communications
  • Comfortable working with very sensitive data and able to maintain a high degree of discretion
  • Demonstrated ability to execute process improvements and identify automation opportunities
  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence
  • Critical Thinker with a natural curiosity to analyze and improve business results & processes
