The Smith Communications Inc. family of newspapers is seeking a sportswriter for The Eatonton Messenger, a growing newspaper with a strong social media presence for sports. Responsibilities will include writing and photography of high school sports.
Ideal candidates will have newspaper reporting experience, the know-how to meet a deadline and be a go-getter. Experience and/or formal education are preferred, but not necessary. Other requirements are a commitment to work, a willingness to learn and a desire to improve to become an integral part of the company’s success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay : $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
