Camden News seeks a sports reporter with multiple strengths. We need someone who can write breaking news, compelling features and enterprise; who is comfortable producing in multimedia; and who’s adept at social media. This is a general assignment position that will cover a variety of professional, college, prep and community sports.

We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package. Applicant must be able to work nights and weekends and provide transportation.

The position requires a degree in journalism or related field and a working knowledge of Associated Press style. Experience at either a professional or collegiate newspaper preferred. This is a safety sensitive position. Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance. Must be fully vaccinated. Drug-free workplace. EOE.
