Full Job Description

Develop and maintain relationships with the local, state and national media for assigned sports. Produce or assist in media guide production for assigned sports. Compile and report results for assigned sports and post-season events. Develop and establish statistical and biographical files on the student-athletes and coaches for assigned sports. Assist with supervision of graduate assistants and student assistants. Other duties as assigned.
Travel is required in and out of state with the assigned teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Public Relations or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in athletics communications or related field.
