Full Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safeguards the cage bank assets.
  • Adheres to all Sportsbook Departmental policies.
  • Write, verify, make payments on tickets and cash vouchers in accordance with department policy and procedures.
  • All transactions are to be done in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate with slot personnel concerning all winnings that are requiring a W2-g to be generated.
  • Verifies identification and DSFC look-up for all transactions that a W2-g is generated.
  • Verifies and provides funds for Sportsbook winning payouts at the level of when a W2-g is required.
  • Document any transactions that fall into the categories of currency transaction requirements (CTR), money laundering and Suspicious Activity Reporting for Casinos (SARC) requirements.
  • Maintain and reconcile a bank for your assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures.
  • Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds and procedures for guests.
  • ID Verification when required.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Strong Guest Service Skills
  • Ability to acquire a Louisiana State Gaming Permit

Physical Demands:

Ability to walk, stand, sit, crawl, twist, kneel, push, stoop, climb stairs, climb ladders, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry 25 lbs. or over.
Conditions include working inside and outside, working around office equipment with moving parts and moving objects, working protracted or irregular hours, and excessive or intermittent noise, and dust. Regularly uses keys to obtain entry in kiosk and office area.

The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate but may be occasionally loud.
