Job Description:

The Sports Anchor Reporter will report and shoot five days a week for the Sports Department at KIFI/KIDK. The Sports Reporter will assist in daily sportscasts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce and anchor weekend sportscast
• Prepare, produce and present local stories on-air
• Work with Sports Director to establish and execute sports segments
• Establish contacts with local coaches and high schools
• Must be able to shoot own live shots when needed
• Tell compelling and captivating local sports stories
• Fill-in Anchor when needed
• Work a flexible schedule
• Must be self motivated

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or related field preferred
• 1 year related experience is required.
• Successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
