POLITICO is seeking an aggressive, enterprising reporter to cover the people, politics and power of the technology world through the lens of Silicon Valley.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the tech sector and a track record of chronicling the forces shaping it in Silicon Valley and beyond. The role requires an ability to deliver sharp reporting and engaging writing for an audience of influential readers in tech centers and political capitals in the U.S. around the world. Duties will include shaping a newsletter on the tech sector and its influence on our world.

What You’ll Need

• Deep knowledge of the tech sector, including its biggest companies and personalities
• Experience chronicling major public policy debates around the tech sector’s reach and influence
• Demonstrated ability to break news and deliver incisive, unique reporting
• Experience writing clearly, accurately and efficiently on deadline
