ChampionX has an immediate need for a Senior Finance Systems Analyst located at our Sugar Land, TX or at The Woodlands, TX site. The Senior Finance Systems Analyst will work as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, document, and validate business system requirements to provide the functionality necessary to meet business objectives and project goals.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as key contributor to ensure the success of the global implementation of Hyperion (HFM/EPM).
    Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams to coordinate and manage the systems activities for key processes (e.g. monthly close, forecast, annual plan, strategic planning, etc.)
    Perform end to end system change management and ensure SOX compliance.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure understanding of requested changes to ensure appropriate testing, documentation and deployment.
  • Serve as key member in all ITGC audits and walkthroughs.
  • Lead 1-2 finance systems projects within the first 18 months, including developing and maintaining project plans, task assignment, milestone tracking, status reporting, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Oracle HFM/EPM solutions (or similar technology).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong accounting and financial aptitude along with a strong technical skillset.
  • Translate complex business discussions into clear, concise requirements & deliverables.
  • Ability to successfully manage core responsibilities independently or with limited oversight.
  • Maintain critical thinking while balancing multiple tasks and meeting objectives in timely manner.
  • Experience in Oracle (HFM/EPM) tool configuration, workflows, & user security management
  • Experience developing and supporting system integration and ETL solutions (Oracle FDMEE).
  • Experience configuring and managing integrated process automation (IBM CC or similar).
  • Proven ability to learn new skills and technologies with a passion of sharing knowledge.
