Madgicx is growing rapidly, and we’re seeking a highly motivated, experienced Product Content Writer to advance our product documentation and help us improve user experience.

One of the most important projects you’ll be involved in is our new Help Center. That is one of the most critical projects in the company, which will significantly impact our customer retention rate, satisfaction, and loyalty. You will report directly to the Content Marketing Manager and work cooperatively with multiple teams to produce task-based, user-facing help content about the power of Madgicx’s products and tools, tailored to a range of audiences.

As a Product Content Writer, you will also be responsible for technical writing for our platform and release notes. Every week, our Product teams release new tools and updates to our software, and you will be in charge of keeping our users in the loop and our platform’s UX impeccable.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Writing new help content and optimizing existing content in our Help Center
  • Working with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to create concise, clear, and helpful microcopy for our platform
  • Monitoring internal and external feedback channels to help define customer needs and content priorities
  • Creating user assistance content for Madgicx’s platform – from tool walk-throughs and video tutorials to how-to’s and best practices
  • Publishing Release Notes on our website for tool improvements and new features
  • Helping to establish a cohesive language and unified voice across Madgicx’s assets and platform

What you need for this position:

  • 3+ years of proven technical or content writing experience – preferably in SaaS companies
  • Digital marketing experience is a plus, especially in the field of Facebook, Instagram, and Google advertising
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Ability to create high-quality, long-form user assistance content for software products
  • Love taking responsibility for your area and proactively seek ways to shape the customer learning experience
  • Ability to step into the shoes of our various customer personas, modify the tone and voice of your writing to match the customer and use case, and create content that’s meaningful for them
  • Quick-learning skills and high motivation to research on your own
  • Excellent communication skills, especially when working with a distributed team
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and carry out complex writing projects with close attention to detail along the way
