Tennant Company is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to assist with the Marketing Operations department campaign and content marketing efforts. We are looking for someone who has a strong focus on content creation; taking responsibility for producing various types of marketing collateral, campaigns and communications across the company. This role is an integral part of the development and execution of marketing materials to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. Our Content and Campaign Specialist will assist with marketing campaign design, content planning and creation, and support product launch content needs. They will have proficient skills to help with any of the following: social media and advertising content, product launch content, photo and video creation, and creating digital marketing campaigns.

GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES:

  • Content Marketing
  • Creating content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media.
  • Collaborating with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas with audience in mind.
  • Managing content calendars and ensuring that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams – from creative, sales operations, to product marketing and legal – to produce effective marketing content.
  • Partnering with external and internal agencies/creative partners including schedule management, approvals, and billing (writers, graphic design, video, photography).
  • Collaborating with Commercial and Industrial product teams to develop new product launch materials.
  • Project managing development of market-facing content (brochures, sell sheets, flyers, banners, ads, guides, white papers, videos, articles) along with ensuring alignment of messaging development, copywriting and legal review.
  • Ensure all materials that are produced follow brand strategy guidelines.
  • Campaign Development
  • Creating integrated digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and advertising.
  • Managing email campaign development, asset creation and implementation.
  • Identifying appropriate print, online and social media channels for targeted campaigns.
  • Collaborating with Commercial and Industrial product teams to execute new product launch campaigns.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Plan the launch of new products and manage the implementation of the communication plan.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.
  • Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
  • Experience with creation of collateral and website contents, blogs, social media, newsletters and video.
  • Experienced in creating multi-channel digital marketing plans and product marketing plan development.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • B2B experience preferred.
