Essential Functions

The Marketing Coordinator position provides marketing communications support for the Office of Graduate Studies, specifically focused on the graduate student recruitment and event management functions of the office. This position assists with developing and editing content to be used across a variety of mediums including, but not limited to print, email (transactional and CRM), social media, video, and web site. This position will also support the graphic design needs of the Office of Graduate Studies and serve as a marketing support liaison with a variety of departments and teams at UNO.

Additional Duties

Required Qualifications

High School Education or equivalent; Two years of full-time professional experience in a position demonstrating project coordination, effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field; Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds. Graphic design experience. One year of full-time professional experience working directly in a communications, marketing, event coordination, or public relations position.
