The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing external financial statements and reporting schedules, both for SEC and 401K reporting. This role will be heavily involved in supporting the year-end audit and quarterly reviews; both preparing supporting schedules and reviewing materials prepared by others. This individual should be comfortable managing deadlines, being a self-starter, adapting to changing priorities and communicating with other departments within the organization. This role will require strong review capabilities and attention to detail.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis; both internal and external
  • Preparing or reviewing schedules to be provided to external auditors
  • Working closely with auditors on year-end audit and quarterly reviews, pulling supporting schedules or details as requested
  • Assist in implementing SOX and maintaining controls over financial reporting
  • Advise, guide and monitor peers as it relates to compliant accounting behavior
  • Take on a proactive role in accounting and accounting-related projects (e.g. implementation of new accounting standards, business and M&A projects)
  • Support with month and year-end closing and performing financial reviews
  • Collaborating with FP&A on management reporting and providing support during budget cycles
  • May assist with booking of monthly close entries and performing reconciliations as need
  • Special projects as needed

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA Preferred, Or Equivalent Qualification With US GAAP Experience

Skills and experience:

  • 2-3 years applicable accounting experience is required, Big Four audit experience a plus
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis/review is critical to this role
  • Strong time-management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP required; SEC experience desired
  • Self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented
  • Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; or other system knowledge
  • Able to work independently and in a team; self-starter a must
