ABOUT THE JOB

TDX Holdings is recruiting for the position of Finance Manager. This is a regular, full-time position located in Anchorage, AK. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

JOB SUMMARY:

Finance Manager creates and analyzes business models as well as their association with operational growth projections and financial needs to support the present and future vision of the corporation. Associated duties are cash management and planning, tax, credit approvals, insurance management. Supervises an Analyst to assist in assigned tasks supporting their responsibilities. Reports directly to the CFO to support the CFO’s tactical and strategic duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive financial management plan in concert with the CFO, and support CFO in regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in strategic project progress.
  • Identify and analyze market and business trends to predict future financial needs.
  • Establish analytics to help identify the organization’s business needs and opportunities.
  • Business model analysis and metrics to assist in defining the organization’s policies and market approaches,
  • Track corporate financial performance and assist in developing metrics for performance and management.
  • Manage the corporation’s external credit standing through such tools as Dun & Bradstreet and others as applicable.
  • Assist in managing legal issues such as contract drafting and preparation and interaction with outside attorneys.
  • Address risk management by identifying and analyzing specific and corporate-wide risks and interact with outside insurance brokers to determine risk tolerance and mitigation.
  • Directly involved in establishing ever-improving Budget process and specific preparation of the Budget.
  • Assist the CFO in working with external vendors to obtain and manage lease and/or purchase financing.
  • Gather important company data and compile it into dynamic reports management can use in the daily operation of the business.
  • Supervise, train, and closely work with the Analyst to successfully achieve stated functions and responsibilities.
  • Establish a credit policy and management thereof including corporate-wide credit application process and review for approvals or declinations.
  • Comfortable with open flow of work and a wide range of Other Duties as Assigned as the CFO makes extensive use of staff in varying task which may not be enumerated above.
  • Desired Skills and Experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related business field such as
  • Accountancy
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Statistics
  • Management
  • 5+ years of associated work experience.
  • Strong ability to function independently without direct supervision.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and mastery of Excel.
  • Ability to work extended work schedules as required supporting project execution plans and schedules.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Tax planning not required for this position, however experience in this area is valuable.

EMPLOYMENT HOURS:

Hours are Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an unpaid one-hour lunch, excluding holidays.
