The position will act as a gatekeeper for Finance for the assigned branches/area, who can work independently and be able to identify areas of improvement, business needs/requirements, as well as keeping close communication lines to General Managers and Business Controller.

Your Role

  • The position will act as a gatekeeper for Finance for the assigned branches/area, who can work independently and be able to identify areas of improvement, business needs/requirements, as well as keeping close communication lines to General Managers and Business Controller.

Your Responsibilities

  • Billing support for all accounts / Automation of billing process
  • Financial Metrics / Prepare financial reports for both local and central management
  • Provide the DCM/GM with tools to prepare an accurate forecast and reporting
  • Independently process month end closing procedures to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition, while managing any balance sheet exposures
  • Monitor and report financial KPI performance
  • Data Analysis and Ad Hoc Report creation
  • Prepare and distribute daily/weekly P&L files
  • Customer profitability analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting regarding data quality, completeness, and relevancy
  • Creation of data base for hours tracking
  • Maintain running metrics sheet for all accounts
  • Update SQCDP board as required
  • ACON+ administration, supply ordering
  • Your Skills And Experiences
  • At a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-4 years working experience in Finance or Controlling environment.
  • Experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment
  • Knowledge/Skills & Traits
  • In depth understanding of financial and accounting concepts
  • Ability to relay financial information to non-financial personnel
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment and to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the business
  • Should have very strong operational knowledge related to MS Office (Excel, Excess, Word, PowerPoint), and Monarch
  • Knowledge of ACON New of advantage
  • Basic understanding of Contract Logistics business req68407
