The Job

Specific Areas Of Focus Include

Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for Kids, Young Adults and Classics division with primary focus on Programming support. Partner closely with divisional operations teams to manage all aspects of corporate finance for related areas.

  • Preparing programming forecast and budget/LRP (P&L and Cash Flow)
  • Financial modeling for various programming strategies
  • Maintaining amortization expense schedules and updating with latest EFC’s, play patterns and amortization methodology
  • Partner with Development Team to prepare forecast/budget for K&F HBO Max
  • Prepare Studio revenue forecast and Intercompany elimination schedule
  • Prepare Participation and Residuals forecasting, reporting and statement distribution as appropriate
  • Partner with production finance team to manage financial implications of all originals in production and forward-looking plans
  • Prepare Linear and SVOD acquisition cashflow reporting
  • Prepare greenlight, post analysis and investment schedules
  • Interface and partner with Production Finance teams to ensure all facets of Productions are reflected appropriately in forecast , budget and strategic modeling.
  • Prepare various reporting requirements to studios and internal clients
  • Work directly with the Accounting group during month end close

The Essentials

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance or media related field.
  • Media, Network or Studios experience preferred
  • On hands experience in Financial Systems and technical experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and modeling skills
  • Knowledgeable on Production Finance/Accounting
  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of entertainment industry and Studios operations
  • Ability to build clear, succinct and effective presentations
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication
  • Positive outlook
