The Department

This position is part of the Regional Shared Services Center where the team is focused on providing accounting and finance functions for global business lines and preparing financial reports.

Your Role

The Finance Business Analyst will be responsible for the oversight of the global Invesco corporate card programs as well as several Finance policies. This global position will be supporting internal clients across the organization and will focus on identifying and preventing fraud and misuse of company assets by using data analytics. This role will be hybrid once our office re-opens in Atlanta.

You will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of Invesco’s global corporate card programs, working with Finance groups across the globe to ensure compliance
  • Identifies and escalates risks found within the programs
  • Suggests and implements process improvements
  • Supports the P-card and Expense Reimbursement Policies, making recommendations for adjustments
  • Coordination with Internal Audit, Privacy and Security teams on expense compliance monitoring and implementation of enhanced controls
  • Responsible for reporting pertinent information to senior leadership
  • Liaises with Invesco’s banks handling the card programs
  • Supports testing of Finance applications as part of upgrades or system enhancements to validate alignment with designed controls and business processes
  • Develops, documents, and maintains department policies and procedures
  • Develops and maintains training documents
  • Leads or supports training sessions for the business
  • Performs ad hoc analysis and tasks as required by finance department managers.

The experience you bring:

  • Experience with Oracle, Concur, Oversight, Cognos and Tableau preferred
  • Global corporate card program knowledge preferred
  • Forensic data analysis and knowledge of global T&E data preferred
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
  • Ability to learn/understand configurations of Finance applications to support business processes
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements
  • Experience working in a shared service center supporting global operations is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reviewing data and identifying trends
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of individuals
  • Maintaining confidentiality is critical
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to utilize computer equipment and software effectively
  • Ability to cooperate in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field; Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business degree strongly preferred
  • Candidacy for Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
