Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Basic Qualifications

0 Years with Bachelors in Science- Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent technical writing skills; ability to organize complex information into clear, comprehensible written descriptions and instructions. Position includes frequent generation of technical documentation: reports, letters, operating procedures, specifications, system manuals.
