Epic is looking for a digital media specialist to join our team. Blaze the trail with work that ensures that our digital brand and online presence is the best it can be and is consistent with the philosophy and messaging we strive to communicate to the public and our community members.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing a digital media strategy across various platforms, using analytics tools to measure online engagement, and using those metrics to identify opportunities to meet website goals. By leveraging social media, our public websites, e-mail newsletters, and other external communications tools, this position offers a unique opportunity to exponentially grow Epic’s online presence. You’ll develop long-term digital media strategies that are achievable and scalable for various channels and ensure alignment with messaging goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Splunk, Google Analytics, Tableau)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Emma)
  • Social media proficiency
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and current tools for planning and monitoring SEO
  • Experience with a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress
  • History of academic and professional success
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in digital strategy preferred
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination
