City Experiences is seeking a Content Editor for our Marketing operation in New York, NY.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Senior Director and key business partners to develop strategy to bring the brand to life through engaging storytelling
  • Establish and oversee network of freelance content writers throughout the US to create original content
  • Review and edit content to ensure brand alignment and consistency
  • Ensure team’s tasks are completed on time
  • Fact check and verify information and research
  • Work with internal teams to publish/launch content across platforms
  • Establish KPIs and monitor performance for future optimization
  • Stay up to date with trends and competitor landscape
  • Additional job duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in journalism, English, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as an editor or similar position, preferably within hospitality, travel, or experience industry
  • Strong knowledge of SEO
  • Must have excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Must have excellent project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs, and features is a must
