Job Title: Business Development Associate

SOURCE is looking for a Business Development Associate to join our Global Projects and Partners Team. This role is based in Scottsdale, AZ and will report to the Director- Global Projects and Partners.

In this role, you will cover the following activities:

  • Act with urgency to qualify and nurture leads. Drive excitement and engage with customers through daily lead management.
  • Account management for existing channel partners to accelerate adoption and achieve long-term success.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction. Resolve conflicts and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and bids to support and close sales efforts. Present proposed SOURCE solutions to customers.
  • Build relationships for the broader Global Projects & Partners team with new clients and partners based on research and analysis conducted on key segments, customers, programs, and applications for SOURCE globally.
  • Develop outbound lead generation strategies across segment and market opportunities.
  • Support Global Projects & Partners team with transactional due diligence, financial modelling, and presentations.
  • Sales Management including data forecasting and reporting.
  • Coordinate with SOURCE Operational, Marketing and BD teams to support various projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years’ customer-facing business development-related experience
  • A degree in business, finance, engineering, or law is preferred
  • Passion to make an impact and ensure a positive customer experience with an innovative product
  • Adept at relationship building at all levels throughout organizations
  • Highly responsible self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of job completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organization and time-management skills
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Embrace challenges, learning new things, moving at a fast pace
  • Ability to quickly learn new industry and terminology

A day in the life

As a Business Development Associate at SOURCE, you’ll spend much of your week qualifying and developing leads through the sales process, creating tailored value propositions, managing existing channel partners, and conducting outreach to organizations. You will be working with our Global Projects & Partners team to solve many of the world’s most challenging water problems – providing resilient, clean drinking water to rural and remote communities as well as working with organizations ranging from distributors, non-profits, NGOs, local and county governments, hospitality brands, universities, etc. You’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with many different roles within the greater SOURCE team including field, operations, marketing and business development.

The typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Some weekends may be required when business opportunities require it.
