Business Analyst/Project Manager Job Summary:

Works closely and collaboratively with IT Director, developers, product owners, and stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute against project requirements; identifies and acquires necessary resources and coordinates efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes in accordance with sponsoring source’s expectations.

Business Analyst/Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Leads the planning and implementation of multiple routine and advanced-level IT projects.
  • Coordinates with application stakeholders understands their needs, defines requirements, and develops implementation plans to address those needs.
  • Responsible for the oversight of project-level financial management. Creates project financial expense plans, tracking, and reporting variances throughout project.
  • Leads cross-functional teams assigned during the duration of a project, clearly communicates expectations, and holds team accountable to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Communicates project status to team, business stakeholders, and executive leadership as appropriate throughout the duration of the assignment and post-implementation to make certain all impacted stakeholders understand risks, issues, and activities related to the project.
  • Develops detailed work plans and schedules and evaluates and defines appropriate ownership responsibilities and controls.
  • Provides advice to and consultation with business partners around governance, technology, and implementation of IT systems and processes.
  • Manages the technical evaluations and reviews as related to technology, project, and IT business delivery

Business Analyst/Project Manager Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
